Yet another bird record.

I'm not sure why but I always seem to make things in three's.

"Spanish Goldfinch" on 12" vinyl. Mixed media & acrylic.

NEW! NEW! NEW!

I just added a bunch of new products to mu web-store including prints of the "Heart-Skull" image (I seriously have to come up with a good name for that thing). Click below to check 'em out.

I apparently have a thing for birds.

Here are some of the 12" records I made for the May 1st show. I'm sure they look familiar to anyone who knows my art.

"Year of the Tiger " Update #9

And after a few touch ups, the final test: How does it look outside?

"Year of the Tiger " Update #8

After retouching some of the fade lines and adding the high/low lights, I think I'm entering the home stretch.

"Year of the Tiger " Update #7

After all the tape is removed, I can finally get a good look at the direction this is going. So far so good.

"Year of the Tiger " Update #6

So far so good. I just did a light dusting of a very dark blue. The plan is to achieve a very subtle gradation as the stripes move down.

"Year of the Tiger " Update #5

Here he is, all taped-off and ready for his final stencil.

"Year of the Tiger " Update #4

Alright, here it is with a the hand painted star bursts, a few coats of clear and almost ready to be masked off for the stripes.

"Year of the Tiger " Update #3

And here he is again after the light & dark highlights plus the first pass at the "stars".

"Year of the Tiger " Update #2

Now he's dull blue! This is just the base coat, it'll get better.
