After retouching some of the fade lines and adding the high/low lights, I think I'm entering the home stretch.

After all the tape is removed, I can finally get a good look at the direction this is going. So far so good.

So far so good. I just did a light dusting of a very dark blue. The plan is to achieve a very subtle gradation as the stripes move down.

Here he is, all taped-off and ready for his final stencil.

Alright, here it is with a the hand painted star bursts, a few coats of clear and almost ready to be masked off for the stripes.

Now he's dull blue! This is just the base coat, it'll get better.
